Krimml has countless holiday opportunities ready. Hikers enjoy the mountain world on the well-marked hiking trails in one of the surrounding Tauern valleys or on a summit tour. The valleys, such as the Krimmler Achental, can also be explored by mountain bike. Our alpine pasture, the Söllnalm, is also located in the Achental, which supplies us with a wide variety of products from the alpine pastures in summer: butter, cheese, bacon, milk, buttermilk, goat's cheese and bread are made from these products.

The Tauern Cycle Path, which runs along the Salzach to Passau, starts in Krimml. "Water rats" feel particularly at home in the Durlassboden reservoir or in the swimming pool, but tennis, Nordic walking, paragliding, horseback riding or mini golf are also possible.

Numerous events, such as the weekly village market or the square concert, trips to Salzburg, Innsbruck or the Grossglockner High Alpine Road round off your holiday in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region.
